Emergency First Aid at Work

This Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) Level 3 Award qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace.

First Aid at Work

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

Paediatric First Aid

This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to become a paediatric first-aider in the workplace with a responsibility for the welfare of infants and children. This qualification is intended for learners already working or preparing to work in the industry and it meets the requirements for paediatric first aid outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage. 

Safeguarding Children & Adults

This qualification is suitable for learners working or wishing to work, with children and young people. These include how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace, and know how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young persons have been abused.  

Manual Handling

This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the movement and assistance of people and is intended as a further development qualification. It is also suitable as refresher training. This is underpinned by the safe principles of moving and handling but recognises the special skills required when assisting and moving people.  

Moving & Handling of Object

This qualification is aimed at learners who are starting or returning to work or who need specific training in manual handling. These include reasons for safe manual handling, risk assessments, manual handling equipment and how to apply safe manual handling principles.

Mental Health Awareness

This knowledge-only qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment and wish to develop their knowledge of mental health awareness.

First Aid for Mental Health

The role of a first aider for mental health is to provide basic mental health support or to be the first response to someone in need, usually in the workplace.

Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace for Managers

The manager’s role is to lead, mentor and support an employee to proactively engage in their employment, contributing to the growth of an organisation and working in a way that supports the individual’s own growth as well as the organisation’s objectives and values.
