The moment your journey begins as an apprentice, you will become an employed member of staff, you will be paid an hourly rate and you will work toward gaining a full Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification.
You like the idea of working with children, being part of a professional team, working together and contributing to the success of the nursery.
During your period of training as an Early Years Practitioner, you will be assigned a learning mentor who will guide and support you through the training programme.
Ideally, you will need to have a good basic education with GCSEs (or the equivalent) including English and Maths.
